EU blij met aanpassingen wetgeving over Hongaarse centrale bank (en)

The European Commission on Tuesday welcomed Hungary's decision to amend its central bank law which allegedly threatens its independence. However, the Commission says outstanding issues on Hungary's data protection and retirement ages of judges remain. Budapest is hoping to secure a €15 to €20 billion EU-IMF credit-line.
