The parliament of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday appointed Vjekoslav Bevanda as the country's new prime minister, ending a 15-month government formation in the ethnically divided former Yugoslav republic. Bevanda, 55, is a member of the centre-right Croatian Democratic Union. He said winning EU membership would be among his priorities.
