Oostenrijkse Europarlementariër verliest immuniteit na schandaal (en)

The European Parliament on Tuesday waived the parliamentary immunity of Austrian independent MEP Hans-Peter Martin i. This follows a request by Austrian prosecutors investigating if Martin misused public funds for private purposes during the 2008-9 European election campaign. He is also accused of having submitted "fictitious documents" to justify the expenses.
