Voorzitter Europees Parlement spreekt met delegatie Oekraïens parlement (en)

European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek i met today with Anatoliy Kinakh, former Prime Minister of Ukraine and Ivan Plusch, former Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, representing the newly constituted interparty group "European Choice".

President Buzek welcomed the stated goals of the newly created group to promote European integration of Ukraine and its democratic and market reforms.

EP President said: "This interparty group could support the already existing official channels of cooperation between the European Parliament and Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which is the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee (PCC), co-chaired by Mr Pawel Kowal and Mr Borys Tarasyuk. I welcome any form of dialogue with politicians committed to the European path of their country."
