Conferentie over nieuwe regels omtrent structuurfondsen (en)
Structural Funds evaluation obligations have promoted a culture of evaluation & accountability in Member States and regions. However, after thirty years of European Cohesion policy there is still little evidence as to what Cohesion policy has delivered across the EU and evaluation is still not used to its fullest potential as a tool for strategic programme management. The new Structural Funds regulations introduce more flexible requirements on evaluation, providing more scope for adaptation by the Member States. This entails both significant opportunities and considerable risks.
The conference will deal with the country and partner approaches with respect to the evaluation of 2007-13 National Strategic Documents and Operational Programmes, and with the way such approaches change compared to 2000-06, in response to the new regulatory requirements and to the differing strategic priorities of Member States and regions. Monitoring arrangements will also be discussed. "
