Wetenschapsministers komen bijeen voor verbreden uitwisselingsprogramma's (en)
On 26th-27th September, the Podlasie region will host Ministers of Science, including France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of the European Commission.
For the first time, such a wide group will discuss exchange programmes for students and researchers not only within the European Union, but also including the countries of the Eastern Partnership i.
‘The widest possible inclusion of students from Eastern Partnership countries in the Erasmus-Mundus i exchange programme is of key importance,’ emphasised the Minister for Science and Higher Education, Prof. Barbara Kudrycka. ‘This proposal of the Polish Presidency i has already gained broad recognition in the European forum. Bialystok because of its location and growing academic potential, can play a special role in this process,’ underlined Prof. Kudrycka.
The Bialystok debate among Science Ministers is part of the Eastern Partnership Summit organised under the auspices of the Polish Presidency in Warsaw at the end of September.
